Time to get Hyped!
Clout Chasers is a comedy / satire of online content.
Whether that be, YouTube, TikTok, the idea of being a “Influencer/content creator”, internet/twitter drama, multi-channel networks (MCN’s), ETC.
Basically, our aim is to satirize mainstream internet content in a tongue in cheek, fun way.
The show follows our 3 leads:
K. J, Buckley and Lucas.
guys stuck living with each other due their own circumstance. KJ’s laziness, Buckleys immaturity and Lucas’s struggle to land a job-
(despite earning a college degree in business administration)

Calm, patient, Sluggish and Forever High.
KJ’s head is always in the clouds, so to speak.
Despite being high and disinterested- he is a talented video editor and often shows the most empathy and level headedness in stressful situations.
His movements are sloth-like, his speaking is soft and monotone, often sounding like he’s on the verge of taking a nap.
A man of few words, KJ only speaks up when he has something important to say, and despite his overall disinterested demeanor, his advice and suggestions are usually on point.
LUCAS
Hard Working, High Strung, Completely and utterly Unemployed.
What do you get when you graduate with a degree in “business administration” and nobody ever hires you? You get Lucas.
He isn’t concerned with the glory of owning a channel so to say, rather the business that it brings.
His focus is on driving up their views, whatever the means. Embodying the more number driven part of video culture, in pursuit of endless growth Lucas often loses sight of what’s really important.
BUCKLEY
Energetic, passionate, quick to anger and generally idiotic.
Buckley embodies the exaggerated personas most content creators like to put on, in Buckley’s case however, that’s his actual personality off camera as well.

He’s stuck in the past in many ways, blinded by the nostalgia of what he considers “The Golden Age of YouTube”,
​He loves the glory that comes with having a channel, showing the most energy and passion in his performance, however his friends often have to steer his ideas in the right direction since what he enjoys isn’t exactly the same as what an audience will enjoy…

The idea for Clout Chasers is based on our own personal expierences running YouTube pages thoughout the years and some of the stories you'll tell people sound straight out of a goofy cartoon. Then it hit us...

Since then, the general idea was continuously expanded upon until a pilot script & storyboard were created.
This led to us starting our production company, TURNING GREEN, as we successfully assembled a talented team of Animators, Background Artists, Composers & VFX Artists that could help bring our vision to life. Everything you see was painstakingly done by real artists with a drive to create and entertain and we hope that you enjoy watching it as much as we did making it!
